Curimaná

This is an update for the Curimaná area. I and Daniel started work about 3 months ago. When we left for vacation we were recording an average attendance of 13-15 each tuesday night. We have since returned from vacations to find some new challenges facing us. Our local leader, which has been faithful till now, has recently informed us of an outstanding debt that must be repaid by the end of the year. So we are searching for a leader that is reliable and that can continue the work on the days of the week that we are in our other work sites. Typically we work in Curimana: Tuesday afternoon, Tuesday night, all of Wednesday and Thursday morning. Curimana is a town of about three thousand people. It is a very small town that is only recently devoloping: potable water, sewage and other utilities. Our greatest challenge is the transient lifestyle of the people. One week we will have great attendance, but the next, only a couple of people. This is mainly due to the agricultural need of the people to travel great distances to their farms cultivate then returning to Curimana. Please pray for: a local leader to step forward, a pressing of the Holy Spirit on the hearts of the people and finally for our health and protection.

Ésta es una actualización de Curimaná. Yo y Daniel empezamos a trabajar en este sitio hace 3 meses. Cuando salimos a vacaciónes, notabamos una asistencia con un promedio de 12-15 personas en el culto del martes. Ahora que hemos regresado de vacaciónes, nuevos desafios nos han dado de conocer. Nuestro líder local nos ha informado que tiene una deuda pendiente para los fines del año. Éste líder ha sido muy fiel hasta ahora...entonces estamos en el proceso de buscar un nuevo lider que nos puede ayudar los dias viernes a lunes, durante los cuales no estamos en Curi. Nuestro horario normal en Curi : llegamos el martes en la tarde, pasamos el miercoles entero y el jueves por la mañana.

Aqui les presento unos datos interesantes de Curimaná

Curimaná es un pueblo que tendrá una población de tres mil personas aproximadamente. Recien el gobierno municipal esta desarrollando los systemas de agua potable y desaque. Nuestro desafio mas grande es la vida transient agricultural de la gente, la cual los requiere viajar por semanas a su chakra a cultivar. Favor, ustedes guerreros de la oración, oren por los corazónes y las mentes de la gente en Curi. Oren para que Dios levante un líder, y en final oren por nuestra salud y protección.
